Hello there!
Hello there!
My name's Kim Siew. I'm an artist and educator living in Sydney, Australia.
I tell stories through mural art and illustration, full of quirky, playful characters that bring a little smile to your day.
Alongside my mural and illustration work, I teach workshops in story building.
Participants are guided through the creation of their own stories using techniques such as zine making, puppet making and book binding.
Take a look at the classes I teach here.
Oh, I'm also a lover of stationary and craft.
You can find and purchase my paper puppets, stationary, zines and other fun merchandise online at my
Etsy shop Akisiew.

Dishy Tea Towels

I was thrilled to be included as one of the artists in the first batch of tea towels from this new Australian owned company set up by the amazing Kristen Devitt. Dishy Tea Towels are good and they DO good. 10% from the sale of each Dishy tea towel goes to a charity that the artist has nominated so that when you hang yours on the wall or dry your dishes, you are a part of the fabric of helping and showing love in communities all over the world. When you purchase my designs ('Flowers' or 'Mother and Daughter'), you will be supporting the organisation Women And Girls Emergency Centre based in Sydney.
